Pasta is very famous in Italy. Typically, pasta is a noodle made from an unleavened dough of a durum wheat flour mixed with water or eggs and formed into sheets or various shapes, then cooked by boiling or baking. It can also be made with flour from other cereals or grains.Pastas may be divided into two broad categories, dried (pasta secca) and fresh (pasta fresca).As a category in Italian cuisine, both fresh and dried pastas are classically used in one of three kinds of prepared dishes. As pasta asciutta (or pastasciutta) cooked pasta is plated and served with a complementary
sauce or condiment. A second classification of pasta dishes is pasta in brodo in which the pasta is part of a soup-type dish. A third category is pasta al forno in which the pasta incorporated into a dish that is subsequently baked.
It takes only 30 minutes to make it and it’s a complete dinner.

Ingredients
- Butter 2 Tbsp
- Sausages 3-4 (I prefer the smoked variety)
- Onions 1 large, chopped finely
- Garlic 1 Tsp chopped very finely
- Green Peas 1/2 cup
- Carrots 1 peeled and chopped
- Beans 8-9 chopped
- Chicken broth 2 cups
- Milk 1 cup
- Cream 100 gms
- Pepper to taste
- Allspice 1 Tsp crushed
- Parmesan 3-4 Tbsp grated
Method
Step 1
Parboil the vegetables with a bit of salt and keep aside
Step 2
Heat butter in a deep skillet and add onion and garlic. Fry for a few seconds before adding the diced sausages to it. Let it cook till onions are soft and sausages lightly browned. Add the parboiled vegetables and let them get coated with butter completely.
Step 3
Add milk to the skillet and half the cream (I used Amul Fresh Cream) Let it boil and add the dry pasta along with warm chicken broth. Add some more salt, half the allspice and a pinch of pepper.
Step 4
Cover and cook until the pasta is al dente. This takes about 12 minutes. Keep checking for the sauce. If you find it going dry, add water or chicken broth.
Step 5
After the pasta is done, check for salt, season with more pepper and allspice and sprinkle the Parmesan.
Step 6
Mix well after that garnish it and serve.
